Alex Jinkins

Academy Coach

We’re excited to welcome Alex Jinkins back to Momentum Baseball Academy as an Academy Coach.

Alex is a Momentum Alum and 2016 Altoona High School graduate (3-time All-Conference). He played at St. Cloud Tech (team captain in 2018, career .353 hitter, primary catcher/DH) and UW-Stout from 2018 to 2021.

The last four years he was the Hitting and Catching Coach at Alexandria Tech. In 2026 he helped the Legends reach their first NJCAA DIII College World Series while posting a .352 team average, 1.029 OPS, and 50 home runs. Earlier seasons featured .329/.937 and .337/.920 offenses, with multiple hitters moving on to NCAA DII.

Alex will be available for both Hitting and Catching Lessons at our facility starting August 31st. It’s great to have one of our own back in the cages. Welcome home, Alex.

2024: Helped lead one of the best offenses in the country with a .329 team average, .937 OPS, and 28 HRs. 4 of those hitters moving on the Division II level.
2025: Helped the Legends offense to a .337 team average, .920 OPS and 27 HRs.
2026: Helped lead the Legends to their first NJCAA DIII College World Series Appearance, and their offense with a .352 team average, 1.029 OPS, and 50 HRs.
