Dick Harkness

Dick Harkness has been a youth pitching instructor at Momentum since 2021. He has been coaching youth baseball in Eau Claire at multiple levels since 1997 starting at Lowes Creek Little League and is currently the JV2 Head Baseball Coach at Eau Claire Memorial High School.  In addition to his long association with Lowes Creek and their travel baseball program, Dick has coached at the Babe Ruth and Legion levels in Eau Claire and has served on the Board at both Lowes Creek and Eau Claire Baseball.  For the last several summers, he has coached youth travel teams for Eau Claire Baseball, winning the Ohio Valley Regional for ECB at the 10U level in 2023, earning a spot in the Cal Ripken World Series. 

Dick spent his professional life in the high-tech industry, moving from California to Eau Claire in 1996.  He has three married children and four grandchildren and lives with his wife Connie, in Eau Claire. Recently retiring from his 9-to-5 'career' has provided additional opportunities to stay involved with youth baseball in Eau Claire and hopes to be active long enough to coach his grandkids at Lowes Creek.

Dick is available for private instruction at our facility this winter and will be available primarily on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
