JACK BROWN
ACADEMY COACH
We are excited to announce the addition of Jack Brown to our coaching staff. If you are familiar with Eau Claire Baseball, you might recognize this guy.
A 2018 graduate of Eau Claire Memorial High School, Jack was a four-year letter winner and a standout on the mound for both the Old Abes and Eau Claire Legion. Jack went on to pitch at the University of Minnesota - Mankato from 2019 to 2023. During his collegiate career with the Mavericks, Jack made 39 appearances, pitched 60 innings, recorded 47 strikeouts, and finished with a 5.85 ERA and a 3-3 win-loss record. He graduated in 2023 with a degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Law Enforcement.
Jack also pitched for the Eau Claire Express from 2019 to 2022. During his 3 summers in the Northwoods League, he posted a career 4.54 ERA over 138.2 innings for the Express, striking out 101 batters and achieving an 11-9 win-loss record. With his extensive playing experience Jack will be a great resource for our local pitchers. Jack will be available at our facility for both pitching and hitting lessons on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings throughout the summer.
