We're thrilled to announce the return of Jeff Janot to Momentum's coaching staff as a Pitching Instructor. Jeff brings a wealth of expertise in pitching development, backed by his Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology and his role as a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at UW-Eau Claire, where his research focuses on strength and conditioning for baseball and hockey players.
Since 2010, Jeff has served as the Varsity Pitching Coach for Eau Claire Memorial HS Baseball, guiding numerous athletes to top honors. Under his leadership, his pitchers have earned six 1st team Big Rivers All-Conference selections (including four Pitchers of the Year), six 2nd team or Honorable Mention All-Conference nods, seven Region 1 All-District recognitions (three 1st team, two 2nd team, and one Pitcher of the Year), and four WBCA All-State awards (one 1st team, one 3rd team, and two honorable mentions). Previously, he was the Pitching Coach for the Eau Claire Pizza Hut American Legion team from 2006 to 2008, and he also served as Past President of the Eau Claire American Little League.
Before his coaching career, Jeff excelled as a player at the College of St. Scholastica from 1989 to 1992, helping the team reach the National Small College Athletic Association National Tournament in 1990. In high school at Racine St. Catherine's, he was part of the 1989 State Championship team and earned 1st team All-Metro Conference and All-Racine County honors.
Jeff's return strengthens our commitment to top-tier pitching instruction. Rapsodo certified, he is available Sundays and Wednesdays this winter for both Regular Pitching Lessons and Rapsodo Pitching Lessons, starting November 30th. Families can start booking with Jeff immediately.
