Introduction:
Welcome to our 12u Hittrax Hitting League! This is a 12u BASEBALL hitting league.
Saturday mornings weekly | Starting Feb 10 | Ending Mar 16
Cost: $150 per player*
*Anyone with an active Hitting Membership will get 30% OFF
Here's how to register:
Step 1:
Get your team organized.
Minimum of 4 players on a team.
Maximum of 5 players on each team (recommended)
Step 2:
Figure out what your team name is going to be.
Keep the team name simple and appropriate.
Step 3:
Click the BOOK NOW button below to get registered. Each player needs to register individually. You will be asked to indicate your team name when you register.
WE ARE ALSO OFFERING FREE AGENCY: If you don't have a team and just want to register individually, go ahead and register as a free agent. When it asks you to indicate your team name during registration, just mark down "FREE AGENT". If we have enough free agent players to make a team, we will contact you. If not, we will 100% refund your player fee.
12u League Structure:
This is a 12u BASEBALL hitting league.
We are capping this league at 6 total teams.
5 week regular season | 1 week playoff | (6 weeks total)
Saturday mornings weekly | Starting Feb 10 | Ending Mar 16
Games will be scheduled between 9am and 12pm.
Games are 7 innings and will last approx 30min each.
During Regular Season, each team will play a doubleheader (back to back games for 1 hour total).
At the conclusion of the regular season, teams will be seeded 1 thru 6 based on their record.
Tiebreakers: (1) head-to-head, (2) runs scored
Mar 16 is Playoffs:
- Single elimination
- Seeds #1 and #2 get a first round buy
- Game 1: #3 plays #6
- Game 2: #4 plays #5
- Game 3: Seed #1 plays the lowest remaining seed
- Game 4: Seed #2 plays the other remaining team
- Game 5:(Championship Game): Winner of Game 3 vs Winner of Game 4
12u League Rules:
Roster Size:
Minimum of 4 players on a team.
Maximum of 5 players on each team (also recommended).
Minimum of 3 players must be present every game.
Teams that are not present, with at least 3 players at game time will forfeit the game with a score of 8-0 in favor of the winning team.
No substitutes for any reason.
Players will be hitting off a pitching machine which will be ran by Momentum Staff. Speed of the pitching machine will be age-appropriate and will remain the exact same speed thru the duration of the season.
Players are responsible for bringing their own bats and helmets. Helmets must be worn at all times.
Players are welcome to arrive 30min prior to their first scheduled game each week to warm up.
Registration/Drop-Out/Refund Policy:
Registration will remain open until we get all 6 teams filled.
Registration will close a week before the start, or when we get 6 full teams -- whichever comes first.
We invite anyone who is interested to join our wait list after registration has closed.
If you or your team needs to drop-out:
- The deadline for 100% refund is 1 week before the start of the Regular Season. After that, no refunds, no exceptions.
- If a player needs to drop-out, they can do so at any time before the start of the regular season and get 100% refund as long as their team still has a minimum of 3 players on their roster.
Communication:
- After registration has closed we will finalize the game schedule as soon as possible, and will email you all the necessary information prior to Week 1 (game times for your team, reminders, odds and ends, etc)
- Then, going forward each week: we will stay in touch with you, via email, as needed (changes, updates, etc)
