We are thrilled to welcome back Nolan Fadness to the Momentum Baseball Academy coaching staff. One of our very first alumni and original instructors, Nolan was part of the foundation of our program many years ago and we're incredibly happy to have him back with us.
An Eau Claire Memorial alum, Nolan was a two-time Team MVP for the Old Abes (2006, 2007), 1st Team All Big Rivers, WBCA 1st Team All District, and a member of the WBCA Senior All-Star Team in 2007. He was inducted into the Eau Claire Memorial Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016. Nolan was also a team captain for Eau Claire Legion and represented Wisconsin as an American Legion All-Star at Miller Park in 2007.
Nolan went on to play for UW-Oshkosh and became a highly decorated collegiate athlete. A 4-year starter for the Titans, he posted a .355 career batting average and earned multiple All-WIAC and NCAA All-Region honors. During this time he became a fan favorite with the Eau Claire Express (2008–2010), earning Northwoods League All-Star honors in 2009 and 2010 and capturing 2010 Team MVP during the club's Northwoods League Championship season.
Now an experienced coach and current Regis High School Softball Varsity Head Coach, Nolan returns to Momentum as an Academy Coach. He is available immediately, with a primary focus on youth softball hitting lessons, mainly on Saturdays.
Nolan lives in Eau Claire with his wife Laura, and their 3 daughters -- Evelyn, Elsie, and Emery.
