Vic Cable has been an Academy Pitching Coach since Momentum opened in 2009. His impact on baseball in this area has been immense and long lasting.
Serving as the Eau Claire Express Pitching Coach since their inaugural season in 2005, Vic's recent milestone of 600 wins as a pitching coach is a testament to his coaching prowess and longevity. During his 19 seasons with the Express, Vic has worked with several Express pitchers who have gone on to play in Major League Baseball, including Jordan Zimmermann, Caleb Boushley, and Griffin Jax to name a few.
Before his illustrious coaching career, Vic Cable was a standout player at UW-Eau Claire, where he earned All-Conference honors and the MVP title, solidifying his place in the Athletics Hall of Fame. Following his college career, he continued on as a pitcher for the Eau Claire Cavaliers. In his career with the Cavaliers spanning 15 years he achieved legend status, becoming the Career Leader in Wins with 168 victories, while also holding records for Career Leader in Innings Pitched and Career Leader in Strikeouts.
Vic is available mainly November thru April for Private Pitching Lessons and Rapsodo Pitching Lessons for baseball pitchers of all ages.
